Perform with Us
(Psalm 150:3-6) “Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.”
With the success of our current music program, it is difficult to imagine that we did not have a high school band in the recent past. Having our students lead chapel and playing at winter and spring performances as well as venues to include conference honor band, Morningside College, nursing homes, and events such as the Good News Spectacular and Convoy of Hope would seem to be indicative of a program that has been much longer in the making.
This is a testament to the outstanding staff, students, and families of Siouxland Christian. In addition to earning fine arts credits, students praise God while also benefiting from the camaraderie, teamwork, community participation, and recognition (to include state level) inherent in an outstanding program. Collegiate opportunities are available to qualifying students, including home-school students who are able to participate in the Siouxland Christian music program without committing to a full day of courses.
